Indian Cinema should feel proud, though it fails to honor the legends in time. It failed to honor Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan in his life time in due respect, and now it is Mellisai Mannar M.S.Viswanathan who has not been given the honor he deserves. On 12th August 1960, a new avatar was born and its mother was Kalathur Kannamma. Her sisters, Parthal Pasi Theerum and Ananda Jothi, blessed the new avatar and with the blessings of Gemini Ganesan, Sivaji Ganesan and M.G. Ramachandran, that avatar has now rose to great heights to give Dasavathar and more. Both the sisters PPT and AJ, had their songs from the cradle of Mellisai Mannar and on 12.08.2009 the avatar has entered 50th birth day. What a marvellous achievement!
Let us all congratulate KAMAL HASSAN on this rare fete and wish him more more and more 50s in future. We hope his contribution is duly recognised by Mother India.
