Dear friends,
Many of you might have attended the Programme NAADHAMENNUM KOVILILE presented by Murali and Vatsan. This is an unique and first of its kind. This was a successful event.
To give another dimension, to bring out the hidden gems of Mellisai Mannar, to fulfil the long cherished dream of ours, our core crew Sabesan and myself have been thinking of presenting a programme of Mellisai Mannar's Songs. This one is conceived to present the audio of hitherto unheard or rarely heard songs of Mellisai Mannar and analyse and discuss the nuances of those songs. We intend to hire a small hall with a capacity of maximum 100 people. The expenses would be shared by those who present.
The programme is tentatively titled "Kaetkak Kidaikkaadha Gaanam". Based on the feedback from the members we would proceed further. Please let me know who are all interested in this programme. If so, kindly email your wish to ragasuda@yahoo.com or sabrag@rediffmail.com.
We propose to take the songs composed by MSV during the period 1981 to 2004 for the first programme.

Dear Rengasamy Sir, Vijayakrishnan, Murali and friends,
Thank you for encouraging words. I am in touch with Sabesh and hope to launch the programme soon. Though I have termed it a new concept it may be termed as an extended or modified version of Nadhamenum Kovilile, in the sense we are going to analyse the songs technically. In fact, I wish Murali may be use this platform to bring out whatever he has in store on Mellisai Mannar's compositions. The main difference being the playing of recorded songs here, ie. the original compositions.
Hope to meet all soon,
Regards,

Dear Mr. Ragasuda,
I thank you very much for the offer and confidence you have shown on me. However I feel you have to consider new people's perception whether technical or non technical in nature as we have quite a few members who are capable of providing such information.
Still I could offer you some ideas provided this could be of any help for your concept.
Regards,
N Y Murali |

Interesting thinking ! This has been your long term longing, sabesan !!
No need to say, but, still, add me into to your list of participants.
