Dear All,

It is with profound grief that we announce the sad demise of one of our best known musicians, a trusted key boardist of Shri. MSV, Mr. Rajan, early this morning due to cardiac arrest. Mr. Rajan was ailing for sometime but inspite of his illness, he did play for our recordings weeks before his sudden passing away.

MSVTIMES.COM will miss this talented player forever and more for, he was one of the stalwarts of the "Legendary" programme - Vaarthaigal Sollum Vaathiangal. Late. Rajan has always been an integral part of MSVTIMES.COM and on many occassions within short notices he has always made himself available for all our programmes.

OUR HEART FELT CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.

It is a shocking news for us MSV fans and how to describe the grief that our MSV might find it difficult to bear.
May God give the strength to late Rajan's family and our MSV to overcome this pain.
May his soul rest in peace.

I have watched Rajan with admiration for his quiet, composed yet professional way of functioning. In the Tamil Isai Sangam program of MSV in December 2009, he sang the TMS part of 'Deavan vandhaan Devan vandhaan' from Kuzhandhaikkaaga, with Kovai Murali singing the Sirkazhi part for a change. I look upon MSV's team as members of the MSV family, which I consider an extended family of my own. I have affection and admiration for all of them though I may not know the names of most except a few like Rajan, Ganesh etc.

I feel heavy in my heart when I bring the image of this committed musician in my mind's eye.
May his soul rest in Peace and may God bless his family members.

Dear sirs,
It fills us all with grief to know that such a stalwart has passed away. As has been written, all MM's team members are verily his family members, and hence, command and deserve the same love and respect in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.
Will it be possible to show his photograph for people like me who have not had the fortune to know him?

It is indeed a very sad news. I am recollecting the rehearsal of the song 'Azhage vaa aruge vaa' in which he played those culminating chords during the charanam end. We could not hear it properly in the mono version of the original.

Also recollecting the chords he played for the song 'Nann kanda kanavil nee irundhal'.

He made very lively moments during many light music programs and recordings.

May his soul rest in peace.

Friends,
At present, who is the person who is playing the keyboard in the programme Endrum MSV in Mega TV? He too is extremely talented and versatile. Now and then he lends his voice, and quite admirably too!
Kindly let us know of this person please...

Dear friends,
I had watched the Endrum MSV show towards the fag end, and MM was being asked about who would be rendering an MGR song by Mr.Aadhavan. MM responded by saying that 'Mr.Rajan, it is a one-man show'...I was suddenly struck by this coincidence. Friends, who read this, may confirm who the keyboard Rajan was...
