Dear Friends,
The duo we are currently considering with awe , did indeed inspire one and all, be it the novice, the fellow technicians, the movie makers or any genre of personality among the populace of the golden era.
Quite perplexing has been the boundless enthusiasm with which the 2 held the centre stage with inimitable accuracy in sophistication in their respective domains of 'composition'. My mind fails to reconcile to any other combination however genuinely I try to locate a near parallel. It is all too well known that in portrayal of human emotions in a life span oscillating from cradle to grave and beyond into the other world, the blessed pair -KD-MSV has answers -instant and eternal in coming out with the last word on the subject.
Who can forget the songs like

'yEn pirandhai maganE', chinna chinna kaNNanukku', 'kAlamidhu kAlamidhu kaNNurangu magaLE' 'aththai madi meththaiyadi', kaNNE pAppA', 'poo poova parandhu pogum' 'muththAna muththallavO' 'iraivan varuvAn ,avan endrum nal vazhi tharuvAn ' and

several such numbers relating to children or child-related issues -just to name a few. I know the list is by no means complete, but each song gives a complete satisfaction by the way it conveys the apt emotion -all in a matter of 3 minutes 30 seconds records. Yes, each one is a record by every reckoning including the majesty of longevity enjoyed by them. What truly beholds attention is the ease with which KD has paraphrased the emotions with altruistic simplicity and the elegance with which MSV has pumped life by way of serene tunes and fitting musical notes embellishing the 'substance' in these songs. Even more astonishing is the 'ridiculous' politeness with which KD- MSV NEVER made it a point to speak high of their immortal pieces that rule us to date. Probably, they were more seized of the perpetual thought of achieving perfection that they chose to play down their personal calibre even if we insist on specific details. Probably, our limitations as lesser mortals come in the way of our seeing eye to eye with these legends. Such observations necessarily creep in, as now we find taller claims over pedestrian pieces that seem to receive undue attention and accolades -perhaps for want of better attitudes to pursue.Yet, the hypes can not dim the glory of the duo as they have silently spread their canvas of glory for any one to come close if possible.
So friends, please avail of this opening to add your observations on child songs.
