Dear Friends,

Giving below the link

http://youtu.be/IRCs-BJXxao

My comments:

Sometime before this movie the ban on liquor was lifted and it started flowing freely. Kannadasan indirectly hitting the people concerned with the lyric 'nee irukkun idam kudi irukkum' but cleverly twisted the word second time with 'anbu kudiyirukkum'. That apart look at how MSV churned out the melody in different scale when he is repeating the word 'kudiyirukkum' @ 1.24 indicating the effects the liquor creates when consumed. A beautiful imagination of churning out the melody from the lyric.

NYM avargale,

Adiyen indha paadalin sirappai patri ezudhi ullen. Especially the mild gamakam during Nee irukkum idam !!

The real beauty of this song is that its more of Mohana kalyani except the occasional deviation , typical of MSV Smile

Dear Mr. Balaji,
Thanks for the link. But for the link I would have never read this post unless accidentally finding it. A great write up indeed.

As you have rightly said very difficult to say as mohana kalayani but yet it has all the ingredients of mahana kalayani.

In vadivelu language it is mohana kalyani but it is not mohana kalayani.

May be we can name it as madhu mohana kalayani.
