|
|
I recently came across this song which started directly from Pallavi. Not even a bit of prelude. Are there (m)any song(s) of MSV of like this?
(I'll wait for the reply from the Club members before I disclose this song) _________________ Ramkumar |

How about the song, "Pon Enbaen" from 'policekaaran magal', "Naan paarthathiley" from 'Anbey Vaa". I think there should many others.

Dear P.Sankar,
I had a big sense of achivement that I discovered a unique song. But you came up with two. Great!
Now I expect more songs from other "MSV Jambhavaans"!
The song I had in my mind is "Athikkai Kai Kai" _________________ Ramkumar |

NICE and UNIQUE THREAD , RAM !!!
There are indeed numerous songs without Preludes.... Following are some of the lot that I cud think of now :
1. Odam Nadhiyiniley - Kaathirundha Kangal - Seergazhi
2. En Annai Seitha Paavam - Sumai Thangi - Amazing VERY RARE song by S.Janaki - Please listen to this song..
3. Azhagey Vaa - Andavan Kattalai - PSusheela - The song actutally starts with PS singing the Pallavi without any prelude (there will only be waves on the background) and goes on to a HUGE Violin piece followed by a rare instrument called OBOE . The song starts then....AMAZING COMPOSITION,ORCHESTRATION and RENDITION. This song is an example for interludes between Pallavai and Anupallavi.....What an imagination !!!
MSV Rules !!!
