மெல்லிசை மன்னரின் திற்மை அரீண்த இயக்குனர்கள்

A.C. THIRULOKA CHANDAR - 25 FILMS
B.R. BANDHULU 11 FILMS
A. BHIMSINGH 16 FILMS
C.V. RAJENDRAN 13 FILMS
K. BALACHANDAR 26 FILMS
KRINSHNAN PANJU 15 FILMS
P. MADHAVAN 23 FILMS
RAMANNA 18 FILMS
K. SHANKAR 35 FILMS
SP. MUTHURAMAN 8 FILMS
SRIDHAR 19 FILMS
MUKTHA SRINIVASAN M 17 FILMS
VISU 6 FILMS
K.S. GOPALAKRISHNAN 6 FILMS
MADHURAI THIRUMARAN 7 FILM

மெற்கண்ட குறிப்புக்ள் FILMS OF MSVஇல் எடுக்கபட்டது.

I am wonder, how far the Directors had faith on GREAT MSV and worked continously. I am doubt no other Music Director except MSV has done continous touch with Directors. Only MSV Guru, KV Mahadevan has done more than 25 films with Devar Films.

If the Directotrs does not have that much of faith and confidence, they could not extract the intelligence of MSV.

The data furnished above is limited. I am searching for the list of other Directors and other languages also.

The wonder, all the songs worked with the above Directors are SUPER HIT.

Even after the entry of youngsters, MSV has done excellent nos. with P. Mdhavan, K. Balachandar, K. Shankar, Muktha Srinivasan.

The wonder, MSV has tuned for about 35 films only in Tamil of K. Shankar.
And all the films are great success for MSV Music.

I have not taken the details for some of the Directors worked with MSV for 2 to 5 films, which count more and more. I have taken only major shares.

I have not been with form for quit some time, as I was colleclting the details.

Regards to everybody who loves MSV

Dear Raghavan, I think you had given the title for the thread in Thamizh. That will be displayed as some alpha-numeric characters. Hence I edited your title suitably. You can change the if you want.

Moving this thread to Articles section...

No doubt, K.Balaji had done with MSV lot of films; but he had his association with msv as a producer and not as a director. This thread discusses only about directors. If producers are taken into account, then there are several other greats like... G.N.Velumani's Saravana films, AVM..and many others too.

Amazing that K.Shankar tops the list !!

Ofcourse KB / ACT always had a lengthy association with MSV .

Good collection. nice thread. Interesting statistics !!

Now, this gives us an opening to meet ACT / KB so that they will share their thoughts on how songs were created and the theme .

Sad K.Shankar passed away. Noone will forget Aalayamani / panathottam . Great director who gave variety .

I think kalangarai viLakkam is just MSV. It had another lovely song in nilAmbari- "pallavan pallavi pAdattume..." First time in film music, soul beat was used probably unknowingly; much before dum maro dum (Hare Rama Hare Krishna, MD:RD Burman)

Correct. Kalangarai Vilakkam is probably the first movie for MSV-MGR combo after the split. All songs are wonderful . Ponezil poothadhu pudhu vaanil is a delightful number Smile

Dear Music Lovers,

We have read and reading fans articles/letters on MSV association with Directors, Actors etc.

Can anyone gather information and compose a letter indicating the banners for whocm MSV composed music and no.of of films. For example AVM/Gemini etc.

I think MSV has composed music for most of the prominent film companies but I doubt whether he has worked Modern Theatres.
