Dear Raghavan,
One of the greatest qualities that I started reverring is MSV's absolute simplicity. He is the same Mellisai |Maamannar to every one irrespective of the knowledge one possesses in music. After seeing Madhu's emotions, it was difficlut for me to fight my tears too. Great video. Great moment to cherish for all of us.
MSV IS MUSIC
CHEERS

Dear Mr.Raghavan,
Many thanks for posting this link. Being a new comer to this forum, I have just seen the video clip. What should I say? Here is our Mellisai Mamannar waxing eloquent about the merits and qualities of others but when he has to say anything about himself he is suddenly short of words. What nobility! It is good to see IR praising the Emperor. But I would like to point out that MSV has been the one who has conquered others with his magnanimity and generosity and unlike some others he has always beeen humble. He is in stark contrast to few others who after years of advertising themselves have suddenly acquired humility.
In the same blog, I saw another video clip of IR's daughter's wedding and there was MSV particpating as if it was his own family function.
Mellisai Mamannar is not just a great MD, he is much more than that - he is a very, very great man.He deserves nothing less than Bharat Ratna for all his acheivements. But there is no use in lamenting about the tunnel vision of the powers- that- be
that have failed time and again to honour him appropriately.
BUT WE ARE SURE THAT THE ALL POWERFUL GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING AND WILL GRANT IMMORTALITY TO OUR EMPEROR OF LIGHT MUSIC - MSV THE GREAT!
LONG LIVE MSV!
Regards,
