Great - that's what I find to describe the announcement made by Dr. Kalaignar of the formation of the University for Music. It should come true. This would definitely pave way to bring to limelight the wonderful contribution of great stalwarts to the Karnatic Music, Folk Music, Film Music, etc. This should also lead to an interesting discussion, I hope. First, let us welcome this and hope it becomes a reality soon. Sure, our master MSV would be a happy man.

Glad to know of the efforts afoot for launching a special compilation for Music by TN government. It looks promising. There is more to it than what meets the eye. I only wish all efforts are purely to preserve the glories of TFM as they happened along the history of the industry.

Dear Raghasudha,

This is a great idea mooted by the Chief Minister. Should this project take off, then automatically our Master Creator qualifies to be the first Chancellor of this university. That would be a fitting tribute, wouldn't it be members???
