I was wondering about the movie Meenava Nanban plot!

Beautifully said abt Vandiyadevan and Kundavai dear Vinatha.

FYI, there will be a statue by the side of the Gemini (Anna) flyover. The statue is about a Veeran controlling a Horse.
Kalaignar Karunanidhi inaugurated that statue.
At that time Kalaignar told the sculptures to keep our Vanargula Veeran Vallavarayan Vandhiyadevan as model.
This shows that, Vandhiyadevan has attracted our CM also...

Once in a Kamal's interview in vividh bharathi (in 1990s):
One person asked Kamal as follows:
"In which role will you act if Ponniyin Selvan is taken as a movie."
For that Kamal replied like this:
"Solrenennu thappa ninaichukaadheenga... naan innum antha kadhaya padikala... solrathuke romba koochama iruku... aana koodiya viraivil kandippa padichuduven... Definitely I will play the role of Vandhiyadevan only"

At one point of time MGR was having the rights of Ponniyin Selvan.
Then Kamal got the rights.
I think Gemini was also had that rights once...
But it is very difficult to take it as a movie.

Now my point of view about Vandhiyadevan:
Even a girl/lady/woman would love to do his role, if it is taken as a serial or movie... - Ithu eppadi iruku... Smile

I will imagine Gemini Ganesan (Vanjikottai Vaaliban period) as Vandhiyadevan and Vyjayanthimala as Kundavai and of course Padmini as Nandhini.

BTW, very frequently ur changing your Avatars...
