Dear all -

I wish to introduce myself as a music lover in general and a worshipper of MSVs music.

I have been standing just outside the door of this wonderful quorum of elite members - watching the discussions, amazing how many dimensions has this man given to each piece of his work, to feed the endless appetite of the analyzers and researchers
like you folks.

Each time, I tend to make a step forward to enter, some wonderful analysis from this forum would make me feel like a Lilliputian and keep me away-just outside the door.

Not that I have grown or matured enough, but with a wish to experience the energy level that prevails in this discussion room and to breathe the ever lingering aroma and spiritual holiness of MSVs music, I am stepping in - to spectate and realize - from a much closer
proximity. You folks have all the rights to show me the door out!

For long, I have been wondering what is music and what is it all about and tried gathering the various definitions. When I put to gether what I found, it turned out to be a very simple solution, with an easy to remember Acronym.

Here it is-

What is music?

M usic is just not sound; it is just not

S ongs with instruments abound. Nor is it

V ibrations set in a sequence to influence.

I t is a process that makes the listener travel - with a

S wift, soft, gentle propel - to

W alk along the energy waves of the composer!

A connectivity that communicates with the culture - that

N icely expresses the emotions of a performer!

A portray of feelings at a juncture - that can

T ranquilize the brain-seduce the mind-help to unwind-

H eal the pain-shiver the spine-bring in tears;

A bove all music is for the Soul - not just for ears! In a

N utshell - music is MS VISWANATHAN.

Regards.

Ravi.

Dear New entranant,

You have begun in a great style by hittingthe first ball a six.

Being an ardent fan of the legend, even I may call a diwana of
Music Maestro MSV, I am looking forward to see more posts from your able hands.

We breath air for our existence and to live musically we breath the music of MSV. To experience what is film music one has to hear the compositions quality of music directors like MSV. Among such music directors MSV is on top of the order and will never descend though list may get lengthened but MSV will remain on top for ever.

In my view none can match his versatality, his range, his knowledge, and the variety in his complositions.
