The fact revealed from the date base shows that TMS has sung songs for MSV’s composition around 750 individually and with other singers.

P Suseela is the major female singer around 400.

SPB is the second major male singer of around 325.

TMS and PS share the maximum number of duet songs which is around 215.

Interestingly PBS has sung only 100 odd songs but has created the major thrust in terms of popularity.

MSV himself has sung around 75 songs.

He has sung as early as 1973 in the movie ‘Thalai Presavam’ even before Ilayaraja came to the field. The song is ‘Maalaiyittu poomuditha manamagalaaga’.

Interestingly Sirkazhi and his son Sivachidambaram have sung a song together in the movie ‘Nambinaar Keduvathillai’.
