Many of you might have heard the songs from Karuppu Panam - Ammamma keladi thozi, ellorum ellaamum peravendum, undhan rajasabai, topping all Adavarellam adavaralam.
There is another rare and beautiful gem in a solo sung by P. Sushila, the pallavi starting as Kanmani kanmani

Dear Sri Raghavendran,

Thanks a lot for your links to some very rare, out of circulation and forgotten songs. While I do not remember to have heard the song Kanmani Kanmani (Karuppup panam) earlier, I have completely forgotten songs like Adiye oru pechchukkuch chonnen, which I had enjoyed a lot when the song was released.
There are a large number of beautiful songs released during the late sixties and early seventies, which seem to have gone underground. A few I could recall are songs from Malathi (a KSG film), Moham muppadhu naal (Anaiyaa Vilakku) etc.

Pl continue your great job. I expect to find many more buried gems unearthed by you.

Dear friends,

Many of you might not have heard the Telugu versions of the songs composed by Viswanathan-Ramamurthi duo. I just found the links for two films - Karna (Telugu version of Karna) and Prayaschitham (Paalum Pazhamum). Listen:
http://www.sanidapa.com/search/sivagi-nu-halardu/1/mp3/

Prayaschitham (Paalum Pazhamum)
Nee pere naa praanam (Naan Pesa Ninaipadhellam) (sung by Ghantasala and Susila)
Pothe Ponee Pora (Ponal Pogattum Poda (Ghantasala)

Karna (Karnan)
Evvari korake (ennuyir thozhi) (sung by Susila)
neeve nenu velachitimi (sung by Dr. M. Balamurali Krishna and Susila)

Dear Sir,
It is true that many of us have not heard these Telugu versions made by our MM. Even amongst the Telugu audience, there is not much awareness. Only when you mention about Maro Charithra or Andamaina Anubhavam (Ninaithale Inikkum) do people recognise him. However, I have heard a few Telugu Karna songs long long ago, by chance in a radio. I would say, the rendering may not be as brilliant as that of TMS.
