Dear Friends,
Here are some strong points of the movie.
MGR fans found a profusely refreshing movie in EVP and went berserk nearly seeing it once daily. Hard to believe isn't it? Yes, it was so and it bewildered the movie-makers themselves by the repeat audience. I know in some places, the movie ran for a year or so though the publicity banners had all faded but not the thrill of seeing the movie for the nth time.
The strongest points in favour of the audience's thrill were
Some good acting , Plethora of stars, MGR in double role , brilliant lyrics by Vali, Extremely sophisticated Music BY V R and a soothing presentation of visuals by Vincent - Sundaram.
Two sequences stand majestic even to-day by the quality of visual impact- 'nAn AaNai ittAl' and 'peN pOnAl' both registering bunches of feathers on the caps of V R and Vincent -Sundaram. It is a moot point as to what captivated the viewers most who were more under the illusion of ascribibg most things to the hero of the movie.

What made them come out of such imaginary values to their hero will be brought out soon in these pieces.
