Dear Friends,
We are organizing a unique light music programme titled

'Muthu Kullikka Vaareegala"

The concept of this programme would be highlighting the nuances of compositions of MSV for 2 to 3 minutes in simple language that is easily understandable by every one and presenting the songs in the live orchestra.

As you are aware MSV always used to say that music in in the lyirc itself and music should represent the song sequence and the over all story line.

Keeping this in mind we have selected a list of 30 songs and are going to present how MSV got the inspiration from the lyric or the song sequence followed by that songs in the light music orchestra.

The detail of the programme

13.05.12 - Sunday. 6.00 pm to 9.30 pm

M Ct M High School, Luz Church Road,
Near Alwarpet Anjeneyar Koil.

Dear Murali,
It is really a great concept and idea to present the above programme. I very eagerly look forward to the programme. I am always at the disposal of our friends when it comes to glorifying our Mellisai Mannar. Though I want to be present and not miss any occasion, of late I come across some having a habit of making mockery of legends or making biased compeering. By way of retaliating or responding, I too may become a part of embarrassing moments. The best way to avoid it is not to be present there. I hope my position is understood in its perspective.

I wish the function a grand success and assuring you of my continued moral support.

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations for having shouldered a huge burden to organise yet another evening that would be filled with nostalgic moments of our Legend's Music. I am sure it will be a run away success. All the very best to you & all those who have been behind the screens!!!

For those who have decided to impose a self declared ban(sadly though...for reasons best known or should I say unknown???) in order to stay a way from this pleasant evening.......well nothing, literally nothing will be missed and the loss is for the listener only and not for any one of us including the Legend Shri. Shri. MSV!!!

ஒரு அணில் உதவ வில்லை என்றால் காரியம் நின்று விடாது என்பது தெரியாத விஷயமல்ல...
தன்னால் தான் எல்லாம் நடக்கும் என்று அந்த அணில் நினைத்தால் அது நகைப்புக்குரியது மட்டுமல்ல, ஆணவத்திற்குரியது என்பதும் அனைவருக்கும் தெரியும்...

சில அதிகப் பிரசங்கிகளின் ஆணவப் பேச்சும் ஒரு தலைப் பட்சமான ஏளனங்களும் இடம் பெற்று அதற்கு பதில் தந்து தானும் அந்த சங்கடமான சூழ்நிலைகளுக்கு காரணமாக வேண்டாமே என்கிற நல்லெண்ணத்தில் ஒதுங்கி நிற்பதால் அந்த நிகழ்ச்சியை தவற விடுகிறோமே என்கிற வருத்தம் இல்லாமல் இருக்காது.

எந்த விதமான ஏளனங்களும் கிண்டல்களும் கேலிகளும் ஒரு தலைப்பட்சமான தொகுப்புரைகளும் இடம் பெறாது என நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்துபவர்களிடமிருந்து ஒரு பதில் கூட வரவில்லை என்பது வருத்தத்திற்குரிய விஷயம். மாறாக ஆணவத்துடன் கூடிய பதிவுகள் இடம் பெறுகின்றன.

ஆணவங்கள் எங்கு கொண்டு போய் விடும் என்பது அந்த ஆண்டவனுக்கே வெளிச்சம்.

Dear All,

This is absolutely a selfless initiative of Mr.Murali and his team. Its remarkable to see old fans ( DEVOTEES ) of our MSV putting lot of efforts to spead the MSVism to the next generation ! I really miss all these gatherings .

For we MSV fans, he is our musical God and we breath his music day in and day out. Atleast one of his melodies will come to my mind every day morning. Immediately, it cheers me and my mood gets into a different mode and the rest of the day is so enjoyable !

Let us join together and make it a memorable event. Its very unique !

மெல்லிசை மன்னரின் இசை என்னும் ஆழ் கடலில் மூழ்கி, பல நல்முத்துகளை நமது இணைய தளம் மூலம் வழங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் நண்பர் முரளி, தாம் கண்டெடுத்த முத்துக்களில் முப்பது முத்துக்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து அவற்றின் சிறப்புகளைக் கோடிட்டு இசை ரசிகர்களுக்கு வழங்கிய நிகழ்ச்சி இது. தான் உணர்ந்த ஆச்சரியங்களையும், பிரமிப்பையும், புல்லரிப்பை ஏற்படுத்திய உணர்வுகளையும் நல்லிசை ரசிகர்களிடம் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்ற வேட்கையின் விளைவுதான் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி. அவர் வழங்கிய முத்துக்கள் இவை.

ஆரம் (நேரம்) சற்று நீளக் குறைவாக இருந்ததால், நான்கு முத்துக்கள் முத்தாரத்தில் இடம் பெற முடியவில்லை (என்று நினைக்கிறேன்). எனினும், துவக்கத்தில் இசைக்கருவிகள் மூலம் ஒலித்த நிகழ்ச்சியின் கருத்துப் பாடலான (theme song) 'முத்துக் குளிக்க வாரீகளா', இறை வணக்கமாக- இசைப்பதிவாக, ஒலித்த 'ஆயிரம் கரங்கள் நீட்டி', முரளியின் இசைப்புதல்வி லக்ஷ்மி கீ போர்டில் அற்புதமாக இசைத்த 'கண் போன போக்கிலே,' திருவாசகப் படலில் ஒரே பாடலாக ஒலித்த மூன்று பதிகங்கள் இவற்றைச் சேர்த்தால் முத்துக்களின் எண்ணிக்கை முப்பதைத் தாண்டி விடும்.

லக்ஷ்மி கீ போர்டில் இசைத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தபோது, அவர் தலைக்கு மேல் இருந்த, சுருட்டப்பட்ட திரை அவர் தலையில் விழுந்தது. திரைச்சீலையைத் தாங்கிய கோலின் தாக்கத்தினால் எற்பட்ட வலியையும் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் ஒரு பிசிறு கூட இல்லாமல் பாடலை முழுவதுமாக இசைத்து முடித்த லக்ஷ்மி இசைத்திறனில் மட்டுமின்றி commitment-இலும் தந்தையின் பிம்பமாக ஒளிர்ந்தார். பின்பு மருத்துவரிடம் சிகிச்சைபெற்று, கவலைப்பட ஏதுமில்லை' என்று மருத்துவர் கூறியதை அறிந்து ஆறுதல் அடைந்தேன்.
ஆர்வம், விடாமுயற்சி இவற்ரை இரு கண்களாகக் கொண்டு செயல்படும் சிறுமி லக்ஷ்மிக்கு இறைவன் எல்லா விதங்களிலும் அருள் புரிய வேண்டும்.

மகளுக்கு அடி பட்டிருந்த போதும், முரளி இடத்தை விட்டு அகலாமல் நிகழ்ச்சியைத் தொடர்ந்து நடத்திகொண்டிருந்தார் என்றால், அவருக்கு ஈடு கொடுக்கும் வகையில், திருமதி மாலதி முரளியும், உடனே தொடங்கிய, விருந்தினர்களுக்குச் சிறப்புச் செய்யும் நிகழ்ச்சிக்குத் தொகுப்புரை வழங்கத் தயாராக உடனேயே மேடைக்கு வந்து விட்டார்!

முரளியின் விளக்கங்கள் ரசிகர்களைச் சிலிர்க்க வைத்தன என்பதில் ஐயம் இல்லை. நேரம் கருதி, பல பாடல்களுக்கு சுருக்கமாகவே விளக்கம் அளிக்க முடிந்தது. இன்னும் சற்றுக் குறைவான எண்னிக்கையில் பாடல்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு விளக்கங்களை இன்னும் விரிவாகக் கொடுத்திருக்கலாம் என்பது என் கருத்து.

சாய் குமாரின் இசைக்குழு சிறப்பான் இசையை வழங்கியது என்பதில் சந்தேகம் இல்லை.பெரும்பாலான் பாடல்களை அவர்கள் முதல்முறையாக் இசைக்கிறார்கள் என்பதை மனதில் கொண்டால், சாய் குமார் குழுவினரின் கடின உழைப்பை உணர்ந்து கொள்ளலாம். பாடகர்கள் கோவை முரளி, ஜெயஸ்ரீ, அம்ருதா, பிரபாகர் ஆகியோரும் சிறப்பாகவே பாடினார்கள். பிரபாகரின் வலிந்து பாடும் முறையை நான் அதிகம் ரசித்தவன் இல்லை. ஆயினும் இன்று அவரது வெளிப்பாடு சிறப்பகவே இருந்தது. குறிப்பாக ராதா காதல் வராதா அருமையாக அமைந்திருந்தது.

மணி அவர்களின் அறிமுக ஊரை சுருக்கமாகவும் பொருத்தமாகவும் இருந்தது. மெல்லிசை மன்னரும் மற்றவர்களும் சிறப்பிக்கப்பட்ட இடை நிகழ்ச்சி சுருக்கமாக அமைந்தது மற்றொரு சிறப்பு. மெல்லிசை மன்னர் ஒரே வரியில் அனைவருக்கும் வாழ்த்துத் தெரிவித்து விட்டு முடித்துக் கொண்டார் என்ற்றல், தமிழிசைச்சஙத்தைச் சேர்ந்த லட்சுமணன் செட்டியார் 'எம் எஸ் வி ஒரு கடல். அவரைப் பற்றிப் பேசுவதென்றால் பேசிக்கொண்டே இருக்கலாம்' என்று கூறி அவர் புகழ் என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் என்று சுருக்கமாக முடித்துக் கொண்டார். கர்னாடக இசைக் கலைஞர் ஜி எஸ் மணி அவர்கள் எம் எஸ் வியுடன் தான் பணி புரிந்ததைப் பெருமையாகக் குறிப்பிட்டார். 2011 ஆண்டு விழாவில் இசை நிகழ்ச்சியை வழங்கிய திரு பாலாவும் கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டார். இடையில் இசைகுழுவில் வாசிப்பவர் சற்று நேரம் வெளியே செல்ல நேர்ந்தபோது அவர் இடத்தில் அமர்ந்து வாசித்ததன் மூலம் பாலா அவர்களும் நிகழ்ச்சியைச் சிறப்பித்தார். msv.com இணைய தளத்தில் வெளியான கருத்துக்களைத் தொகுத்துப் புத்தகமாக வெளியிட்டுப் பெரும் பணி ஆற்றிய, நமது அனைவரின் அன்புக்கும் மதிப்புக்கும் பாத்திரமான Professor ராமன், இசையைப் பற்றி மட்டும் அன்றி, rerecording பற்றியும் விரிவாகப் பேசும் அளவுக்கு ஆராய்ச்சி செய்துள்ள மௌன ஞாநி சுந்தரராஜன் ஆகியோரும் சிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டது பாராட்டுக்கும் பெருமைக்கும் உரிய செயல். ராம்கி மற்றும் சபேசன் மேடையில் இருந்து விருந்தினர்களுக்குச் சிறப்புச் செய்தனர்.

ராமனுக்கு முடி சூட்டியபோது திருமுடியை எடுத்த்க் கொடுத்தது (தன்னை ஆதரித்த) சடையப்ப வள்ளலின் மூதாதையர் ('வெண்ணையூர்ச் சடையன் தங்கள் மரபினோர் கொடுக்க வாங்கி வசிட்டனே புனைந்தான் மௌலி') என்று கம்பர் கூறுகிறார்.

எடுத்துக் கொடுப்பதும் ஒரு சிறப்பான செயல் என்று கருதி, அந்தப் பெருமையை தன்னை ஆதரித்த வள்ளலின் முன்னோர்க்குக் கொடுத்து, தன் நன்றியை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார் கம்பர் என்று அறிஞர்கள் கூறுவார்கள்.

இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் சால்வைகளையும் பரிசுப்பொருட்களையும் மேடைக்கும் உள்ளுக்கும் பல முறை நடந்து எடுத்து வந்து கொடுத்துப் பணி புரிந்த பெருமை திருமதி ஸ்ரீகுமாருக்கு உரியது.

திருமதி மாலதி முரளியின் தொகுப்புரையில் பணிவும் உறுதியும் கலந்திருந்தது. கரவொலி விண்ணை எட்ட வேண்டும் என்று ரசிகர்களுக்குச் சலிக்காமல் அன்பு வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தபடி இருந்தார்


மொத்தத்தில் இது ஒரு நிறைவான நிகழ்ச்சி. அரங்கமும் பெரும்பாலும் நிறைந்திருந்தது மகிழ்ச்சியளித்த விஷயம்.

குழந்தை லட்சுமியின் வலியையும் பொருட் படுத்தாமல் இசைக் கருவியைத் தொடர்ந்து வாசித்ததும், தாங்களும் தாயாரும் தொடர்ந்து தங்களுடைய பணியில் ஈடுபட்டதும் மிகுந்த மன நெகிழ்ச்சியினை ஏற்படுத்தி விட்டது மட்டுமல்லாமல் மெல்லிசை மன்னரின் இசை தங்களுக்குள்ளும் தங்கள் குடும்ப அங்கத்தினர்களுக்குள்ளும் எந்த அளவிற்கு தாக்கத்தை உண்டு பண்ணியுள்ளது என்பதை எடுத்துக் காட்டுகிறது. தங்களுக்கு என் பணிவான பாராட்டுக்கள். மேலும் நிகழ்ச்சியைப் பற்றி ரங்கசாமி அவர்களின் சிறப்பான பதிவு தங்களின் கடின உழைப்பினை பறை சாற்றியுள்ளது. அவருடைய பதிவுக்கும் என் உளமார்ந்த பாராட்டுக்கள்.

இதைப் போல் மேலும் நிகழ்ச்சிகளைத் தங்களிடம் எதிர்பார்க்கிறோம்.

It was a wonderful evening with MSV and MSV Melodies. Even the heavy blow of an iron rod on her head could not shake Lakshmi who finished the song without any shock. This clearly shows the UNSHAKABLE DEVOTION, MR N Y MURALI AND HIS FAMILY HAVE FOR OUR GREAT MASTER.

HATS OFF TO THEM AND THEIR ASSOCIATES MANI SIR, SUNDARARAJAN SIR, SRIKUMAR AND HIS FAMILY.

Hi Sampath,

We are an elite group who have gathered under one roof to propagate our Legend's creations in all of its forms. One great thing that is worth mentioning here is the "BINDING FACTOR" amongst us..... None of us knew each other before in our lives. We came, we met, we shared, we analysed, we listened, we sang, we wrote, we cried, we laughed.......all because of the solitary force called MSV!!! Have any one amongst us experienced this kind of a "Divinity" with anyone else's music??? I am sure the reply would be a spontaneous, emphatic NO!!!

To me this has been the greatest achievement of my life. To be with the Master Creator and to be with all of you......A privilege that seldom occurs in one's life....effortlessly.

It is precisely why I am a staunch believer of this observation made by comrade R.S. Mani.........Those who listen to MSV, can never listen to others. And those who listen to others can never understand MSV..........How true.....To me, personally it's always been MSV's music that has accompanied me in the best & worst of challenges that I have encountered in my life. There is absolutely nothing that can ever come a shade near our Master Creator...... leave alone conquering our hearts......

MSV MOMENTS..........WORTH LIVING (LEAVING) ANYTIME OF OUR LIVES!!!

Dear Vaidy,

I still wonder it is nearly 5 to 6 years and how our bondage is getting STRONG time after time. This is one thing, no music director on this earth could be proud of. Even our differences whatsoever on issues gets disappeared and forgotten the moment we hear HIS immortal melodies as his music is the TRUTH..

Even on the other day, we had a hectic quarrel(?!) on some issues of music, but the moment we started to hear the music of MSV from AgniSatchi, we became one and we departed unwillingly and still are longing to meet again.
