Dear Friends,
The song has some more credits ,for the way kavignar has assembled the words. Most statements appear in 2 words all through the opening pallavi. Thereafter some liberty is taken for specific descriptions like 'pAlil ooriya jAdhippoovai'; again succeeding charaNams utilize 2-word assemblages 'kannippeNNai, mella mella, thendral thAlatta'
'kadalin alaigaL, Odi vandhu, 'kAlai neerAtta' and the style continues through the remainder segments of charaNam.

The beauty of the assemblage is
each PHRASE gains value only from the second word in that micro unit.

ANOTHER brilliant exposition of the language by Kaviarasu KaNNadAsan is seen in his ARTICULATE ALTERATION OF just one LETTER IN A WORD to powerfully signify an emotion. The following pairs stand in evidence.

Sandhithha Sindhikka

virundhu viraindhu

Kadalin alaigal Odi vandhu kAlai neerAtta' and 'vAzhai thOraNa mELaththOdu poojai seivadhenna?' are well crafted lines that speak volumes of exuberance in the minds of the 2 people.

It stands to reason to believe that the story plot has been discussed vividly for a powerful music portrayal [ true of all songs in this movie] that both KaNNadAsan and ViswanAthan have brilliantly coordinated their domains as to lend a unique character to the very song which on screen comes as a dream sequence.

Certainly it is a dream song in the craft of movie making.

It would be just a travesty of justice, if I do not pinpoint musical spots, as I am fully aware of MSV's brilliance in this number too.
Please wait for another piece on that soon.

Warm regards K.Raman Madurai.
