Thanks for the video links. The songs, particularly, the one sung by our master is lively. The gimmicks by the director and Yuvan make it joyful. But what is not clear is which is the tune/song composed by our MM that was provided with orchestration by Yuvan?

The most important thing, of course, the ease, beauty and majesty with which master has delivered those lines! Difficult for anyone to match his energy!

In fact, MM was mentioning this event of recording with Yuvan like a child, and with such child-like innocence and joy, when we had met him in April.

Thanks and regards,
Sai Saravanan

I heard that there are posters of this film stuck in Chennai bearing MM's name as MD, (alongside Yuvan) like it used to be so decades ago!?

Yuvan has added his remix mischief to Thillu Mullu. Raagangal Padhinaarru sounds like a song rendered in a Super Singer like program with poor orchestration and mediocre singing. We can particularly notice that the flute interlude has been poorly replicated. Karthik's voice is bland with poor modulation and in comparison SPB sounds inimitably great with his intricate modulations. In rendering the line 'ulagaalum Umaiyaalin,' SPB had sung the the word Aalum in a raised pitch (obviously prodded by MSV, the inimitable life creator for the words) Such fine distinctions are missing in Karthik's singing. I was under the impression that Karthik was a good singer - till I heard this piece.

The other few songs are pure cacophony from the 'young man.' I cannot be happy about MSV being associated with this film though personally this would be a good opportunity for him to get exposed to the young generation.
