Dear Friends,
Of the many MSV numbers that have been 'ahead' of times, the PS-PBS duet from "veNNiraAadai" is a stark example of how MSV can spin a magic of sorts. May be MSV deliberately waived his desire for exquisite carving of beautification and gave a tune that compels us to listen to lyric phrases. Having said that, we can also recognize that without shifting octaves these phrases have been elegantly modulated to a telling effect. Look at how PS has rendered the term 'kAdhalan' with variations in consonance with the mood of the song. It calls for some deep probing of the orchestration which was /is of a different mould altogether and still 'flashing' MSV's grandeur in pumping ecstasy to exclusively rivet the mood to a plane from where the listener takes time to descend -all by self as [s]he has to unfold the clutches of orchestration rather unwillingly. Soon we would look at those facets that qualify our calling these as 'ahead of time' pieces. Please wait. Also our friends can add their perceptions as well under this thread.

Warm regards K.Raman Madurai

Oh. It is a great song, the values went unrecognized. A sort of a song where a question is answered, and the person who answered makes a counter questions and it goes on with a final negotiation.

Unbelievable and unique sort of love duet.

Dear Prof,

Its a song ahead of times then ! Yesterday's Podighai channel featured Mr.Chitralaya Gopu's interview . He expressed his admiration on various composers and on MSV he said..... "The moment MSV will touch his Harmonium, the tunes will just flow in a flash "
