Dear All,

This day shall never be forgotten by me for, it has been etched in my eternal memory. I got up at 430 am today unable to continue my sleep and realised that it was the same day, around the same time when Madhu (MSV's daughter) frantically tried reaching me on my mobile. The previous night only I went to the hospital to see my Guru but came back without meeting him as he was fully clad in life support systems. I had dozed off completely not realising that my phone kept ringing. When I woke up around 530am, I just happened to see those desperate calls from Madhu and called her back in total panic. Alas! the most inevitable had happened by then. I rushed to the hospital only to see the (im)mortal remains of my Guru Shri. Shri. MSV. Even after departing this world, he bestowed me with the rarest of rare Blessings by having me as one of the pall-bearers to bring Him to the waiting ambulance which I consider as the saddest moment of my life.

Today being the first year of this greatest musical soul's departure from planet earth, I wish to fondly remember all the great times I and my family had with him, the many recordings I have attended, the countless drives with Him seated in the front around this city listening to his music, several days of our walking in the marina beach, his visits to my house on my b'days, the several jam sessions all of us have had with him as a group are simply unforgettable. This indeed is a day to remember and to thank this musical phenomenon, our lives aren't enough!

THANK YOU MY LITTLE VAAMANA FOR SHOWERING US WITH YOUR MUSIC WHICH WE SHALL ENJOY FOR MANY MANY YEARS TO COME...

MISS YOU MSV... WHEREVER YOU ARE, MY MOST HUMBLE PRANAAMS TO YOU...

MSV IS MUSIC FOREVER

VAIDYMSV
