KUZHANDAIYUM DEIVAMUM is a movie of class songs.
With Jaishankar, Jamuna, Nagesh in the lead, Kutti Padmini has acted in dual role.
A nice story.
About the songs.
1. NAAN NANDRI SOLVEN EN KANGALUKU...MSV-PS
It starts with a beautiful humming of our EMPEROR and a great PIANO. One of the greatest PIANO songs. (Naan nandri solven antha kadavuluku... MSV-yai TF Industry-ku kondu vanthatharku)
2. ANBULLA MAAN VIZHIYE...TMS-PS
A nice duet like a letter writing song. A pathos version is also there.
3. ENNA KOBAM SOLLU...TMS-ALR-Chorus
A nice college galatta song... with lovely orchestra.
4. KUZHANDAIYUM DEIVAMUM...PS
Kutti Padmini padara romba azhagana paadal. An advice song.
5. PAZHAMUDIR CHOLAYILE...PS
What a divine song.
6. AAHA ITHU NALLIRAVU...LRE (I am not sure whether this song is removed from the movie)
A good one for LRE.
7. KOZHI ORU KOOTILE...MSRajeswari
Again for Kutti Padmini. Oru sentimental song.
Enaku Carnatic Music knowledge kidayathagayaal, songs patriya technical analysis thara mudiyavillai. Please pardon me for that...
But I can enjoy the Ragam, Thalam, Rhythm, Beats, Instrumentation, Orchestration of MSV songs very well...
Each song in this movie is a gem by all means...
Vaanavillin 7 varnangal pondra 7 arputhamana paadalgal...
Thats why I gave each song in "VIBGYOR" color.
Undoubtedly this movie is one of the great musical feast provided by our EMPEROR. _________________ Meendum Santhippom Viraivil...

Dear Mr. Venkat,
Nan nandri solven !, a fabulous song which made me a proud MSV fan
Pls write about the entire movie story also.
Rarely we get such good stories now a days.
Both Jaishankar & Jamuna had played their part very well. A movie with good moral. |
