Good evening to every body, I am a new visitor to THE GREAT MSV CLUB and proud to be one among you.

To day I am going to share my feelings of his special attention to all songs but he has very special and rare quality for group duets. There are lot of examples.

1. IRU DHURUVAN - Theru parkka vandhirukkum Chithira Penne where he has gone to the equal level of the HINDI Version of the film. Even now the Song fantastic.

2. IDHAYAKANNI - Neenga Nalla Irukkanu Nadu munnera - where he has been using special type of drums.

3. Dr. SIVA - Kannangarutha Kyuil Nirathavale where also he is using the special type of music of Coorg.

There are countless to show examples. But I am very much admired by his group sons.

Group songs can be categorised as two ways:
1. Two main singers with lot of chorus and group dance
2. Three or more singers with group dance

Category #1:
Megam thiraluthadi... from Thanneer Thanneer - MV, SJ and chorus
Beautiful orchestra with folk bgm
Appadiye gramathuku kootikitu poidum...

Category #2:
Engal Kalyanam Galatta Kalyanam - TMS, PS, PBS, LRE chorus
An excellent song with lovely chorus...
Varavu ettana selavu pathana - TMS, PS, LRE chorus
Nadodi pogavendum ododi - TMS, PS, LRE chorus
India naadu en veedu - MSV, TMS, PS, Kovai Soundararajan, LRE and chorus

Whatever category you take the list will keep on growing...

Dear friends ,
Talking of Group songs MSV has always been a class apart bestowing meticulous attention, creating an exceptional impact intertwining melody and orchestration that stay vibrantly young for all time to come. Look at these numbers
Aayiram peNmai malaruttumae
Varai en thozhi varayo
Oruvar vaazhum aalayam
KaNgalum kaavadi sidhagattum
Adho andha paravai pola
Aayiram karangaL neetti
Boomiyil iruppadhum vaanaththil parappadhum and so on.

All these [and the innumerable others not mentioned here] have been characterized by unique pieces of orchestration with no semblance of resemblance between them whatsover. All have been grand hits of a top order hitherto unsurpassed by any other product despite the efflux of time of the order of decades. One can devote time to learn from those products of Mellisai Mannar who stays deeply composed as his very songs. Oh great indeed.
Warm regards Prof.K.RAMAN Madurai
