This song sounded more or less similar to "Raja raja sree rani vandhaL" in the same movie and hence probably didn't find a place there; neverthless a lovable song.
I have 1 song in mind from "En thambi" ; "thattatum kai thazhuvattum" by PS- a fantastic song for a different kind of situation. Hero will pluck out the flowers from heroine's koondhal one by one. Any idea where I can download this song from.

Enge Pappa has set of lovely sings " oru marathil kudiyirukkum ..." etc. Is it available anywhere. One never gets a chance to hear them nowadays. Beautiful compositions from MSV |

hi viswas
the name enga papa reminds of another different song .
u could hav heard Naan Pottal theriyum podu - different in the sense , it goes with the fight (generally fight situations will have drums at its peak ) as situation , with ravichandran as hero .
similrly though MGR /Sivaji were main heros . our Master has never been one reserving the best only for them ( of course even Nadigarthilagam used to envy his ANNA for MGR s film songs )
for example engapapa, uyira manama , ofcourse most of KBs film ,
shanthi nilayam , kasethan kaduvulada, athaya mamiya thikku theriyadakattil ,and a lot more . _________________ vijayakrishnan |

Hi VK,
I fully agree with you "Naan Pottal theriyum podu" is quite an interesting humorous song -tune suiting the situation.
"Ninaithal sirippu varum" from Bamavijayam has 2 different tunes (charanams) 1 fast beat and 1 slow one ; both would be nice in their own way/style. MSV has shown his versatality once more here

Dear friends,
Of the so many movies of 1970s one movie was a musical feast of just 4or 5 songs. It was Kovai Chezian's Seer Varisai. Like many song lovers, me too had such a steadfast longing for this movie. For various reasons the movie got dragged and thus suffered. Hat it hit the screen on time, many transformations in TFM would have occurred. It was a low budget item rich in quality songs and did not have the distractions of Megastars. The lone megastar in the movie was MSV and a frequent question that I got asked from my friends was "Seer varisai eppanna varudhu? The same question lingered longer and my friends started punning with it to refer to my wedding. All the same the answer was unknown at that time. Certainly all the songs of this movie had created a major impact on songlovers those days.
