Dear Ram,
It is a good idea, but practically you cannot judge some one just by the number of postings made by him/her. If somebody keeps posting one/two liners like, "That was a good one", "Very well analysed. I appreciate your views", etc their postings will increase. But at the same time, their contribution to the site will be hardly anything.
You may give rankings, but it should be based on the value & substance of the postings, the interest it evinces among other members, etc. You should go by quality and not quantity.
This is my personal & sincere opinion.
Luv,

All,
"Ranks" are just to create some interest among the members and does not, by any way, mean the position/power/level after each rank. This is to encourage people who are already posting and to make the rest to start to participate and post.
I feel the one liners like "That was a good one", "Very well analysed. I appreciate your views" cannot be viewed trivial, as it encourages the other member and indirectly makes him participate more. Hence it is impossible to measure "Value" in things like this.
These are just Landmarks after reaching certain number of posts. We will understand the fun, as we go along. _________________ Ramkumar |

dear ramnath/ Crew members
i was also thinking in the same line after seeing MSV in Flash Back .
probably we should have a vinyl banners displayed , wherever our MM participates
it can just say
VARUGA VARUGA ENNA VARAVERKKUM MSVTIMES.COM
We can have MMs picture
probably add address where they can write .
Similarly , any one of the core crew , check the possibilty of a card to be put at the end of programme every week in ENRENDRUM MSV
this way we can reach many .
there is another suggestion , but donot think our MM will accept , being an old timer /
we can also have banner in dias , may benot in bold letters with others sponsors, name plates . i am sure organisers can do that , because ours is not a commercial outfit .
this i am sure MM will not be keen , so we should enthuise , his manager / ananthu to speak to the organisers , as a request , and not as a demand . _________________ vijayakrishnan |
